Okay, first off my studio 1537 is 3 months old, so i cant return it. Secondly, when i plug in my laptop at around 70-90 percent it makes a wierd sound. So i unpluged the battery and the sound is gone. Is it a bad battery?

We can't read your mind, so you'll have to describe the "weird sound" in more detail.

Does it sound like it's coming from near the fan? The DVD drive? It is a humming, vibrating or a screeching type of noise?

    Cin ;) :)

Are you sure it's coming from the laptop? Try the same thing again but this time put your ear next to the power adapter brick. Do you notice the sound from the brick or the laptop? If the laptop, where on the laptop (general area) does it seem to be coming from?

LoL..I hope the OP comes back and gives more of a *noise description* or we will be playing the *noise guessing game*...I'm wondering if it is coming from his brick now, too?

Sorry guys I was a bit busy,

Anyway its a high pitch sound. I think the sound comes from the place where i plug in the laptop.
