Black. Its plain and low-key, and it costs less. I think the lid color is really something that is meant to be displayed to other people, since most of the time, my computer lid is facing away from me. I'm far more willing to pay extra for things that are on my side of the computer, i.e. LED backlit screen, backlit keyboard, thin screen bezel, etc, rather than some personalized lid color (that isn't actually unique to my computer anyway).

Can not really decide, but maybe blue, hance it's my favorite color.

I don't like the fact that there's a price difference but I'm happy that I can choose between colors. It's 2007 and laptops (and other electronics) are not only grey/black/silver any more.

White -- mainly because I think the glossy finish is more durable.

Even if all colors cost the same, I'd still go for black. I hate drawing unneeded attention, especially to an expensive, easy-to-steal item like a laptop.

There is a difference in energy transfer between different colors, with white absorbing and radiating the slowest, and black absorbing and radiating the fastest. Realistically, there is no observable difference.

I have had a thing for blue lids since my old Toshiba. I like this color on the 1530's top.

    BLACK.
All the other colors seem to make it look more like a cheap toy to me.
