Hi,
I have been trying for 3 days now, ordering a Latitude from the Business Outlet and none of my orders go through... I place the order, receive the acknowledgement email and then nothing. The order doesn't show in my account either. I called Dell and wasted half an hour and have chatted with a few reps and eventually they all say that there is a "glitch" in their system. Just wondering if anyone else has had this issue?
This is strange since I have bought tens of systems from them in past and never had such an issue... And this time I am forced to go through the outlet since they don't have the specs I need in their regular site and I am traveling soon so prefer a preconfigured system. Maybe I should just forget about Dell and move on?
Thanks!

Bumping this solely since I had the same experience and finally gave up. I also "am forced to go through the outlet since they don't have the specs I need in their regular site"
I have been Dell customer for years from work and personal but am quite disappointed with some of the recent changes. Now looking at alternatives, though I don't like Lenovo...
Also, on the Outlet issue - I was informed that Dell does not accept non-US cards anymore for US outlet purchases - which is ridiculous. I want to use a non-US card for miles purposes - so b*&%h please...
On top, I have spoken to about 5 people in outlet of which all 5 were unfriendly and pushy.
Is it just me or really deteriorating customer service at Dell? I have a feeling it was better about 2-3 years ago.
What is wrong with the business outlet?
