I've gotten rid of the obvious stuff, but I can't figure out if it is o.k. to uninstall:
    • Dell Digital Jukebox Driver
    • Dell Support
    • Dell System Restore
    • Digital Line Connect
    • Learn2 Player
    • Microsoft Plus! Digital Media Edition Installer
    • Net Waiting
    • Otto
    • Quickset
    • Viewpoint Media PLayer
    • Web Cyber Coach
    • URL Assistant
    • All of the Sonic stuff

If you have Sonic...get rid of it. Get a better burning program like Nero. The Sonic program causes alot of problems installing programs and the sort. :)

Personally, I would get rid of Net Waiting, Web Cyber Coach, URL Assistant, digitial line connect if you have a high speed connection. and any dell software that you are not interested in.

Dell Quickset allows you to change quickly between power management profiles, as well as it enables some of the FN keys. It also has the popup boxes for when you change brightness/volume.

Dell support checks your system for updates and any problems. Its been awhile, but i think it checks to see if XP is updated and general common problems.

    Otto is some game.

Under appliclication for dell drivers, there is a progam listed as Sonic 5x or something. Under the details it states that it is essential so I may drag over my files onto my drive and burn directly to it. However, if I use a Nero to burn something, do I really need this. Also one more question about dell programs, when I reformat my computer I know that my abitlity to play DVD's will be gone because a decypter will go away. Is this DVD decrypter different than codecs, because I have many codecs that work just fine. If not, where can I downoald the DVD decrypter so I can play DVD's. I didnt see it on dells Drivers and Aplications. Thanks for the help.
