    I use the 4- and 9- cell batteries.

    I own the 6 and 9 cell batteries but only use the 9 cell unless I need extreme battery life.

    I have a 6 cell battery, which I can get about 4 hours out of on power saver setting with screen brightness at 60% and Vista Power Saver so that Aero and Sidebar are turned off automatically when I unplug.

    I have both but only used the 6 cell the 1st day there after it's 9 cell 24/7
