    I'm about to buy an 8600 and I would like to know what kind of ram it uses (gonna get a 256 mb chip and then up it to 784).

    What specifications are most important? This will be for a dothan system.

    Keep my DV1000 or get an Inspiron with an extra modular battery and an ATI 9600 128mb for the same price? Decisions, decisions.
