    I'm sorry I know there's a thread out there on this already, but I can't find it.

    Can someone tell me what to check within the computer (device manager, etc) to see if I do indeed have the LED screen I paid for? I already know what to check on the packing slip, I just need to know what to check in Windows.

    Thanks in advance.

    Right click my computer > properties > hardware > device manager > monitors > pnp monitors > details tab > click on drop down menu, select hardware ID.

    CMO1309 = Chi Mei Optoelectronics
    TMDxxxx is Toshiba or something

    If in doubt, Google.

    SEC = Seiko Epson Company. I don't know how you guys get Samsung from SEC, other than the S part.

    It has to do with the Samsung sticker people have seen on their SEC screens.

    I had no clue any other models having LED options other than M1330.

    What model was OP referring to?

    He didn't say which model but wanted to know what "LED screen" so I thought it was an m1330. It doesn't appear to be now.

    just fyi everyone, when i spoke directly with samsung (we carry some samsung products so i know a rep personally) the sec3350 is not produced by samsung it is a outsourced screen. they did not tell me who made it but even though it is branded samsung it is not made by them. he also told me they knew of a lot of complaints with that model screen.. i found this out about 2 weeks ago ..
