All the discussion about the screen manufacture has got wondering what I have. Below is the description from the orginial config. from Dell. I do not see samsung or any other mfg. Does any one know how to read this.

XD570 LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY, 15.4WSXGA+, VIDEO ELEC. STDS. ASSOC., GLARE WIDE VIEWING ANGLE, LENGTH/LONG

I have had my e1505 since mid april and I continue to be pleased with it. Not sure how I discovered this forum but thank you all I have learned a lot.

Prior Dell is / was a 8100. That is now 4 1/2 years old and wanted a new toy. e1505 fits my needs very well.
