    What should I set my "Maximum Processor State"

    i found this setting in my power saving options.

    It says Maximum Processor State for Plugged in or on Battery.
    Right now its at 50% for max and 5% for Minimum

    What's this mean and what should they be set at?

    why would it comee out the box wsith 50% max on ac power. shouldnt it be 100%

    You're looking at the Power Saver profile. It should be 100% under High Performance.
