    Dell is starting to ship the M1330 this coming week. What stage is your laptop in, based on the 1-800 status line?

    Ordered mine on the 16th as well and instantly went into build stage but as you can see 10 days later is still in build stage.
    build means nothing more than they have processed your payment ;)

    According to some posts there are parts backorders, I dont know if these are verified facts, but it would explain why alot of orders are just sitting in production-build stage. Also like some other posters mentioned, Dell just moves orders into production after acknowledging them to keep people from complaining about thier order status.
