... if you don't get it next day, call up/email and you will get a refund for it. Simple as that...
... even my "sales rep" told me that if it doesn't come next day, let her know and she will refund me for my difficulties even tho she offered it to me for free.

Amazon once shipped an item to me ground instead of next-day air, and I paid thru the nose for next-day air. Well, I called in and complained the heck out of it. Well, it did come in the next day but still, it was a matter of principle - I want what I've paid for... In this case, I think OP is still owed next-day air, since that what was offered. It's like Dell offers a coupon, and revokes it AFTER you purchased something using it. I don't think it what a good business should be doing to its customers.

Maybe the Amazon Distribution Center was 100miles away. Would it make sense for them to fly it...

If it matters to you that much, call them and complain. They will probably give you a coupon or something. Crying on NBR wont fix your problem.

I got the upgraded shipping too called and they're sending me a carrying case and blamed it on DHL computer malfunctions

mine was ground too..but I got it the next day. Complain anyway, but you will probably get it the next day.

Well, so what? I didn't demand my item to be sent via airplane but I did pay for that service. So in this case Amazon simply pocketed the difference b/n what I paid for the shipping and what they paid. They make money already since I purchase something from them and paid their markup on the item. Amazon did refund the money but ONLY after I called in and complained. If they intend to maintain a fair business, they should refund that amount automatically, without me calling in to request it.

Same thing here, I have priority build and next day air shipping...but for some reason the order status checker still says 3-5 days. I ordered mine 2 business days ago, and it's already in the boxing stage...I'll be pissed if they rushed my order and I still get ground :-\

Same here... but after a TON of phone calls/emails/chats, they said that the correct shipping method won't change until it ships!
