    Hi,

I bought a dell vostro 5470 and when I get into dell's website in order to download drivers, and after I click on a specific driver (for example, chipset), I have two options ("other file formats"), both are exe files but the sizes are different

in the "more details" page of this download, it says there are two formats:
    1. File Format:Hard-Drive
    2. File Format:Update Package for Microsoft® Windows®

Totaly different, what should I choose?

    Thanks alot

The contents are identical, it's only the extractor that's different. I always choose the "Hard-Drive" download. The only time I choose the "Update Package" format is when it's the only choice, but IIRC that sometimes has forced me to also download all sorts of unwanted .NET crap, too.
