I order a dell 1405 on Dec 28-29 (dont remember exactly) but until now I have not received any email from Dell about my order. I ordered several Dells in the past with that email so no junk mail in here. The bad thing is I didnt print out the order confirmation when finishing my order. What should I do for now? Should I call them to verify? I dont have any order number to give, just my email address.

I dare not place another similar machine because I'm afraid they will double charge my cc. I also logon Dell.com and check my account and there is no order recently also, so I don't know if they received my order or not.

    What should I do now?

    Thanks for your suggestion.

Be very careful. I ordered online during the holidays (over a long weekend) and they had no record of my orders or any confirmation emails. After two days and several phone calls and assurances that no orders existed, I got off the phone and found a total of 3 orders- the first two that they insisted didn't exist and the one I had just placed.

Of course, I had to call them back and have two orders removed, but had to wait 3 days to have my Dell credit refreshed to reflect only one order. (I won't even go into the problems I had with DHL on non-delivery for 5 days and complaints to District Managers! Not Dell's fault.)

It turns out that Dell's computer system had been overloaded and wasn't properly processing their orders.

Yes, I had the same issue with an order placed on 12/23 online that hit my credit limit on my DPA but never actually processed. I called and got it straightened out with very little trouble.
