This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Dell will call you and ask if you would like to approve further delays or cancel the order.

    I've already read of two people who had their orders canceled. They were emailed the night before the cancellation.

    I recieved the delay notice from dell and I read it but it doesn't say anywhere about needing my consent.

    dell can cancel your order!no way would i want that to happen, and if they did that, they are a big fat piece of @$@@$%$##$$%#$$%in a pie.

    Yea, if I were any of you that have had multiple delays, I'd call and make sure they have it on file that you don't want your order cancelled. For instance, I had a free HD upgrade, free RAM upgrade and a $300 coupon. If that order was cancelled I'd be one mad mofo!
