I didn't get one with my system and I'm trying to score one now, but chat support is stating that the remote is not compatible with Vista Premium. I remember seeing it as an option when I configured the system though. This rep won't budge.

If the TV Tuner and Vista Remote will work with Home Premium why wouldn't the 1520 remote work?

That's what I told the rep but she was adamant that it wasn't compatible with Vista Premium, only the media center edition.

The remote works perfectly in Vista Home Premium, I got one with my laptop. I've used it in Media Player, Media Center, MediaDirect and Foobar2000 and they all work.

Get a new chat going with a different rep.

The BT ExpressCard remote is an Interlink product, 3'rd party, and not bundled in anyway.

The IR Remote is Dell Branded, made by Phillips.
