I've made a couple of posts referencing this but I wanted to come out and just ask it.

I'm about to receive a 1730 with 1 8700M GT in it. I'd like to upgrade to SLI 8800M GTX but its TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS!!!!

Why? Why on earth does it cost that much? Choosing that option on the site is just over 900 dollars. So why is it so much more expensive to upgrade? Will this price come down in the next 6 months to a year?

If anyone can just link to somewhere else that already has these answers, that would be great. I haven't been able to find any answers with google.

    Thanks.

I think I mentioned about keep calling them until you get the price range of 8-900 bucks. There's no way around it.

One guy from other forum called up to 16 times some days, and he got he wanted at the end - 900 and change shipped.
