I looked for over 20 minutes and couldn't find it.

I just received the following and don't think I got the MCE disc.

    1) UF634 A01 -Drivers disc
    2) C9446 A00 -Sonic DigitalMedia v7 LE and MyDvd 6.11 LE
    3) TH581 A00 -Cyberlink PowerDVD 5.7
    4) P7678 A01 Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS

Correct me if I'm wrong but the only one I really need is #1. Is #4 the upgraded audio disc? I didn't order the e1505 with the audio upgrade so I'm not sure if this is just for the standard stuff or the upgrade.

So I think I need to call (again) and get the MCE reinstall disc. Anyone have a p/n handy?

    Thanks!

310-7149 Backup media for XP Media Center,Inspiron

Is what shows in my order number for the 8$ backup re-install cd.

Otherwise people who dont get this, will only get a Norton Ghost type of HDD image to restore. So you can set the PC back to day 1. But not do a reinstall. So yea.. buying the reinstall disc is worth it.

P/N FF858 - Reinstallation DVD Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 with Update Roll-up 2.

That's what's on the disk itself.

That's correct, but I think Dell goes by the part number on the 'sticky' label. In this case DF965....

Curious question.. when you order the system and you pay that 8$ "reinstall cd" that comes up as
310-7149 Backup media for XP Media Center,Inspiron

on your order.. is that the same as Reinstallation DVD Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 with Update Roll-up 2? I mean. I am hoping so and not that its just some sorta image cd or just media install stuff...

Cause if it is.. Ill just download the torrent file... and have that on hand.. since my PC is a legal MCE2005 when it comes in.. Cause I would be pissed if the extra cash I spent isnt on a real reinstall cd..

It should be the MCE Reinstall DVD along with a couple more depending on what Dell is in the mood to send...
