    Hey...I have this Inspiron E1405 laptop, with a Merom 1.6 ghz cpu at the moment.

    Whats the max cpu I can go for ?

    You can use any Socket M processor. That being said, the fastest socket M processor is the T7600, though the T7400 and T7200 are probably significantly better values.
