    When they do on-site replacement they generally use refurbished parts. New purchases should be all new products.

    I proudly announce that I had GHC and I got rid of it when I finally got LG screen. See my sig or read the other thread "...replaced with LG = Perfect" for full details. Not with a chill pill!

    Anybody who has normal eye vision can see the grainy screens (3 of them I experienced myself) and tell within 10 seconds if its grainy or not. Open a window with white background. Look at the pixels and notice grain, and then move the window around. The grain in the pixels will stay while the window moves. Do the same on your desktop LCD.
