Please could anyone tell me any differences between the 3 finishes.

e.g. do they contribute to the durability of the laptop (less scratches, fingerprints), do they pad the laptop?

    Thanks in advance!

Matte - doesn't reflect light well.
    Microsatin - cloth-like, doesn't reflect much light.
    High Gloss - umm...high glossy.

    Thanks for the pictures!

Hmm, but are there any durability differences? Like is one more prone to damage than the others?

I would think the glossy finish would be the hardest to keep pristine.

I've had no problems with my m1330 micro-satin finish and I've had it for 6-7 months now.

The only problem I've had with my microsatin finish is I got a ballpoint pen mark on it. Mine's red so it shows up pretty well :/ ... Maybe a dark colour would be recommended!

Try a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser......with gentle force however.

(If you have access to such an item)

Hmm I think I'll go with Matte (no point getting the others for +£30 !)

    Thanks everyone for your replies!
