does anyone know why the names of the E1505 and the E1705 names been changed to the Inspiron 6400 and the Inspiron 9400? Also there is no option for media center for the E1505? Im planning on purchasing the inspiron "9400" next week and plan on using a coupon is there anything i should know?

They are the same laptops, just different section. The E-series (entertainment series) is sold in Dell's Home section where as the number series is sold in the small business section.

They are the exact same laptop - just different names.

MCE is offered for the 1505 at least in the home section. The coupons are not offered for the 9400. Only the E-series inspirons.

Are you sure you aren't in small business? I just checked Dell's site, and everything was normal on my side.
