    When can i order extra 6 cell battery for m1330 from dell?

    I need an extra 6 cell that doesn't stick out for the m1330 .

    when will dell offer it to us consumers. Should i buy directly from dell online , wait for ebay (reliable?) , or dell outlet

    It will probably be a long while before they appear from ebay. But everyone is in for a long weight for these machines sadly enough so perhaps it doesn't matter. If you can wait for ebay the batteries are usually a good 10-20% cheaper on there. That pretty much goes for all batteries and power bricks. Make sure the battery is an authentic Dell battery.

    I asked Dell online yesterday and they couldn't find anything. They suggested that I get it in a week or two. THEN they suggested that I get a battery that did NOT look like it could even fit the m1330! Oh well... I think i'll wait...

    The CSR that I talked to said I could get the 6 cell for around 125 and the 9 cell for 150 (i think it actually may be more) But i decided to go ahead and go for the 4 cell and 9cell and buy a 6 cell on ebay later
