    When is Dell refreshing their Inspiron line for Santa Rosa?

    i'm debating between the dell inspiron e1705 and the hp dv9500t, but it has been brought to my attention dell is going to soon update their inspiron line for the santa rosa platform.

    hopefully, this will include a superior DX10 graphics card than the 8600m gs. so, here's my question: when will this happen?

    i unfortunately do not keep up to date on notebook news, and my searches lead me nowhere...

    any help would be much appreciated because i would prefer to have a laptop sometime in early fall, at the latest october. if the inspirons are going to be updated soon, i might as well wait; if not, i'll go with the hp.

    please help! :)

    There's a full discussion on it in the NBR forums. The new inspirons will be the 1520 and 1720. There is also a new Vostro line which no one knows too much about.
