    When should my computer come?

    I figured instead of posting in all of these threads why don't I come right out and ask, when "should" my computer be here based on experience from you guys? I ordered it on 1/30, about what day should it come based on prior experiences? Next week, the week after next? I have the free overnight option as well.

    I would say there's a really good chance you will get it next week, especially with next day.

    I am confident that I will receive mine a little under 8 days after placing the order. I just got an email that it is an hour away in Minneapolis. (and will be all weekend!) So it got to within an hour of me in 5 days after placing the order.. Gahh so close!

    They should keep working on yours over the weekend, so likely it will be ready for shipment sometime early next week. Next day should make it likely that you'll receive it next week, but I would always rather expect the worst and be pleasantly surprised if it comes much sooner. :)

    I'm going to predict you receive the thing on... Thursday Feb 7th!!!

    Thursday? If it's done by Monday or Tuesday it should be here Tuesday or Wednesday.....I thought we agreed on Tuesday :(

    LOL I'm just saying don't set yourself up for disappointment. I was really hoping those bast.. I mean.. fine folks at Dell and DHL would somehow, someway get me my laptop for the weekend. Alas, it just wasn't to be. ;)

    From what I've heard, it has to be shipped from Malaysia, which obviously is a bit of a haul. Once it gets here it has to get to a DHL hub and from that point I believe they try to get it to you by the next day. Could they fly it to the States and get it to a DHL hub by Monday? Absolutely maybe..

    Well planes can go pretty damn fast these days so let's hope. Sigh my little laptop sitting there all scared and worried that it won't work right or please me :(. Poor thing, I just want us to meet so I can hug and kiss it.

    Haha yeah they're pretty fast, but with the cost of fuel, they would surely like to get that puppy as full as possible before flying all that way. What stage is it in now? In boxing yet?
