    Hey guys,

    I have pretty much decided on picking up an E1505. Im buying this laptop for Law school and that starts end of August. I figure I should wait as long as possible to let the prices drop on the Core Duos and just wait in general for new technology to come out. Can you guys please tell me what new things are coming out b/w now and August that will effect the Dell Lineup. Is it worth it for me to wait till end of July to pickup the latest option or should I just take advantage of the next $750 Epp coupon and suck it up? Thanks

    Merom (Core 2 Duo I think), the notebook chip version of Intel's Conroe desktop chip, might be available in August. Hard to say exactly when.

    This is scaring me. All I'm hearin about are price drops etc; Why exactly is this happeining? Because of merom? Or b/c dell announced something? Just bought an e1505 and don't want to regret the price/config too much in college...

    Just wait 10 years from now before buying anything. The same system you'll pay $2,000 for right now, or next month, or next year you can probably get for free in 10 years by someone who just gives it to you to clean out their garage.

    i cancelled all my dell sager orders. will wait it out and preorder the merom chip. it will trully be innovative and a big step up from chips out now.
