I bought a refurbished machine a few weeks ago and I am trying to find out when it was originally made. I talked with Dell and they could not give me that info. Thanks.

Also, there is a keyboard cable popping up from behind my spacebar. Should I request a new machine or is this something I should fix on my own with no experience? The keyboard is working fine, it is just annoying.

Question #1: If Dell can't find out, then I highly doubt someone else can.

Question #2: Got to Dell Support and find the Service Manual for your model. It'll tell you how to fix your cable problem.
