Is there ever going to be a 1406 or whatever that offers AMD chips in a true 14.1 chassis? Taking a 1501 and slapping a 14.1 screen on it does NOT make it a 14.1 laptop, it makes it a 15.4 laptop with a 14.1 screen on it.

And while we are at it, when are we going to get a choice of x64 Vista in ALL flavors....not just Ultimate.

The only ones who are doing good by AMDs is HP. Perhaps something like the dv2000z or 6515b?

Probably they will, with the release of the Griffin platform and stuff.

Dell targets mainstream population, those what you ask for would not be interested to masses. AMD's interesting only as a cheap alternative.

Yes, what is with the 14.1 in the 15.1 chassis? Why the deception? Who in the right mind would want a smaller screen in a larger notebook ? Have you guys seen it in person? looks ridicules with that thick border around the screen  , a friend of mine has bought one thinking that it is actually a 14.1, I never knew that there was an option to select 14.1 until he showed it to me.
