It did twice in the last two weeks, so I wouldn't be surprised if they continue this trend in the upcoming weeks through the holidays as well. You can keep checking back here to see if they going to have anymore 750 or 500 or whatever amount they want to take off their lines of computer then. Good Luck.

My best bet is when Wal-Mart.com puts out their own name on one of the vendors computers around $750, I read that on I believe C-net.
High priced dell with laughable support representatives meets Wal-Mart who owns popular Sams Club 'franchises' and is getting bigger and bigger. I believe that when Wal-Mart starts a in home brand people will flock to their stores, as Wal-Mart already are a dot.com Some of my cheap friends still use dial up and they're usig Wal-Mart as their Internet Service Provider. This will be a big threat to Dell prices going higher, even if Dell gets rid of their hang up on you laughable Technical or Customer Support professional representatives?¿?

My mother always said if you can beat the prices of all(Dell)they 'will' find a way to get to the correct door with money in hand, and a desire to save money that big companies like Dell take for granted!

When that day comes I too will be in line (Wal-Mart) for I have HAD it with Dell hanging up or transferring you to somebody then some body else with hours passing by without any satisfaction, just my valuable time going down the drain.[ :(]

Robert Dell reps are making fools of themselves hanging up or avoiding problems their reference manuals don't have the answer to give you. Micheal Dell refused to discuss this with me at a C.E.S. show in Las Vegas, apparently he doesn't realize what's been going on behind his back or a C.E.O. is pulling the strings. Wal-Mart will put Dell in a awkward position I am sure of this, especailly the dial up friends I know who would love to buy a new laptop wth their ISP *name* on it and at a lower price are available at their local Wal-Mart, not some far away entity like Dell has put itself in IMHO.
Robert the price on those new 2.10 are $637 each in lots of 1,000. only companies that are solvent can afford a chip that expensive to install and still beat out the other competitors are going to fare well, with us as the winners to choose what price of what company to chose from.
