    When will the date change?

    I don't get it, I got the jet black, should have shipped.

    I'm wondering the same thing. I ordered 7/29 with an esd of 8/10. Have been told several times by Dell CSR that it will ship out by 8/10. Expecting a delay.

    If your order is to be delayed, Dell will send you an e-mail or use an automated phone call to tell you ON THE DAY OF the estimated shipping date that is has been delayed. It sucks, I know. However, getting the Jet Black color should allow the notebook to ship on time, unless everyone is getting Jet Black now and then there will be back orders which will cause major delays.

    not in Europe I got an email 4-5 days before the first ESD that it was delayed to august 30. US and Euro order status systems work differently. That is logical as the lappies come from different production locations
