    When will the Inspiron 1410 be customizable on Dell's website?

    I'm sorry but I don't think it is possible that 1410 will be customizable, because it's the ODM product from Quanta. Besides, the structure of 1410 is rather bad and the cooling system of the laptop is nothing.
    Originally, I bought a 1410 with CM560 processor , but the cooling fan start nearly every 1 minute even without heavy cpu load. So I upgraded the CPU with T2390 which can afford better management of power. During the replace process, I find that it is realy hard to the replace task than any other laptops. So I think that the support engineers from dell would also dislike 1410 series.
