I assume the new Studio line will be available at retail stores also. Just want to know when will it be?

I constantly can find much cheaper Inspiron 1525 models at Best Buy than if I configure the same components at Dell, not to mention I don't have to wait for weeks for delivery.

I read that most retailers will get the new Dell's towards the end of the month, I think it was ~July 25th, not sure though.

EDIT: I read that a while ago so I could be wrong.

Word to the wise, buy it from Staples. They have a no questions asked 14 return policy with no restocking fee. ;)

Everyone else has a 15% restocking fee.

I thought the news reports said within a few days the retailers would get them.

just don't get it at best buy. i'm pretty sure that if u do, u are at their mercy and have to have the geek squad repair it if something breaks. dell support won't help u.

I work at Best Buy... haven't heard anything about the Studio. I'm pretty sure nobody here actually knows what it is in the first place.

Staples is a much nicer place to look at computers, and generally they have more helpful sales associates. Plus they don't lock their computers up. Even if your on a screen saver that needs a password, just ask an associate for the store # that will clear the problem.
