I like dell for there cheap prices relatively good laptops and there all around options. Well a bunch of my buddies asked me when will the carry a new design when this when that, anyway so basically they where wondering when a new laptop design might come out they also questioned me as to when will they release higher end graphics on there laptops, for example last series had the option of having a 7900GS which was a very high end part at the time, today they only have the 8600GT, well will they offer anything better?

Dell Inspiron 1525/1526 The leaked designs for the successor to the Inspiron 1520 line. They look very similar to the old ones though. Wait about a month before Dell starts selling them.

As for the graphics card, I don't think anything better would come along. The 8600GT is already an amazing card and there probably wouldn't be anything better for awhile.

You can usually align new designs to come out when new processor/chipset/ platforms come out. Penryn, montevina, etc... Some models may come out in between as well sometimes. A good site would be to check notebookreview.com or engadget and gizmodo have rumor mills for notebooks as well.
