    Whenever I resume my 1210 from sleep in vista it resizes the desktop...

    It changes it from 1280*800 to 1024*768.

    Anyway to prevent this? and it doesn't happen if I close the lid to sleep and open it immediatly back up. But if I let it sit for 20 min then open the lid it does. Weird.

    That happens to me too just when I close the lid, I think it's because most of the video drivers for Vista are still really in the Beta stage

    Go to the dell website under support select the M1210 and Windows Vista. Find the driver dated 12/2006. This solved the issue for me (despite buying my laptop 2/07).
