This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Where are the discount codes?

    I've got my new laptop coming from either Lenovo (a ThinkPad) or Dell (a Latitude). But Lenovo is making it very easy these days. It seems they have a new coupon code on their website every day. Using their codes I can get a better-equipped 15-inch notebook from Lenovo than I can from Dell. What I like about the Lenovo codes is you can use them on any purchase.

    Am I missing something? Where are the Dell deals? I've clicked on a couple of deal links on this site but I'm taken to regular Dell 'specials' landing pages which offer the same price as their non-deal pages.

    Thanks. And by the way, my post was not meant as a criticism of this forum. My headline was to have said "Where are the DELL discount codes". On the Lenovo site they announce them on their main laptop page. But when I chatted with a Dell rep she told me, "We don't do coupon codes."

    I'll watch the Notebook and Tech Bargains forum from now on. Thank you!
