I am thinking about to upgrade the HDD for my m1210, and I checked the Dell website for the parts upgrade, and they only have up to 120gb hdd available for the model, but I'm shooting for 200gb or more. So is there any other option out there? And I want to make sure it works with the m1210.

    Thanks!

If I am not mistaken it is a standard 2.5" laptop hard drive, thus you could replace it with anything, for example a 5k320 that gets better performance than the infamous 7k200.

I play a lot of games on this laptop too, and I heard the 7200rpm is better for gaming. So is there a good one for that?

    www.newegg.com

320GB drives are available, with 500GB HDs hitting the market. I think they're already out. Happy hunting, because HDs nowadays are dirt cheap ;).

Yeah it's the standard 2.5 inch hard drive. Dell would rip you off anyhow, just go to Newegg.

I think the 250GB hard drive went up in price. I just did the configuration for my same order and the price was higher by about a hundred dollars. Not sure where the increase came from though.
