I recently got a 9300 and the User Manual PDF keeps mentioning the Dell Inspiron Help file accessible from Start->Help & Support... I re-installed XP and am wondering where I can find that help file. It doesn't appear to be on either the drivers or applications cd that Dell sent me.
Thanks.

When you click start it should be right in that window to the right

Interesting...looks like they screwed this one up. Usually those help files are posted on the Dell Support page for the system, but the 9300 page doesn't list one.
9300 doc page
As a substitute, I would guess that a lot of the stuff from the previous system would apply to the 9300, so you could download the 9200 help file:

this is the windows help & support, not the 9300 manual. it wont show because of the clean install

I see those manuals, but I get the idea from reading the user manual that the Help File is something separate.

Actually, that's not completely true. While it is true that it probably won't show now because of the new install that Chud did, on a new system, the Dell installed User's Guide and usually some peripheral User's Guides (if any were included) as well the Windows help can be accessed thru that link. On the main page that comes up, there is a link to "User and system guides."

Chud-- the Inspiron help is something different, but you wiped it out with your new install and Dell (for some reason) doesn't have it posted on the support site as they usually do.

Thanks for the clarification. I guess I'll try to email Dell and ask for the help file.
Where can I find the Dell Inspiron help file
