I recently bought a XPS M1210. Before thinking i deleted all the partitions and reinstalled the system. Unfortunatly that ruined MediaDirect. I have created a 1.5GB partition for MediaDirect but i dont have any install files. Does anyone know if they are anywhere to be found? If not maybe someone can make an image of their CD for me? (This should be OK since DELL gives this software free?).

    Thanks.

I did the same thing as you and I had to get a replacement CD from Dell since my system did not come with a MediaDirect CD. I just chatted with them and explained the situation, and they sent the MediaDirect CD with overnight shipping.

MediaExperience runs within Windows while MediaDirect allows you to watch DVDs, listen to music, etc... without booting into Windows.

    Ok..

I got MediaDirect to work now (without MediaExperience :)).
Is it possible to install codecs onto MediaDirect?
