    Just curious, did a search and couldn't fine an anwer.

    most are built in malaysia (some are not)

    shipped to the us (this is the boxing stage)

    shipped out from a depo here (this is when your shipping method; next day, ground, etc. kicks in)

    I think they've changed it where all laptops are built in Malaysia ( i could be wrong). Normally it takes 3 days (commonly called the "Boxing Stage") to transport from Malaysia to the Nashville TN - assuming you live in the USA. Then another day to be transported to the shipping depo.

    Just to confirm what others are saying, my last 3 notebooks have been built in Malaysia.
