I need to reinstall Win 7 onto my wife's Inspiron 1555 with the factory DVD.
Every laptop I've ever owned that is a PC has the Windows sticker on the bottom with the key, her laptop bottom is completely bare except for the regulatory stickers and the Dell part # and S/N sticker.
Anyone have a tip of where else they would put the Windows sticker?

You don't need the key if you are using the Dell DVD.

The key is under the battery most likely.

Thanks jason. I didn't realize the key isn't necessary anymore. I haven't reinstalled an OEM Windows version in a loooong time.

For future reference, you need to remove the battery and then you should see it
