Dell's webpage only has the 32 bit ones and I can't find anything here doing a search for "Studio 17 64 bit drivers"

Did you change your OS? If Dell's site does not have them, then I would poke around the Microsoft site and look for some there. Or, start visiting each manufacturers website for individual drivers.

Welcome to 64-bit computing by the way . . . generally still poorly supported.

No, my Studio 17 should be here any day, it's in boxing and I have overnight shipping.

I have 64 bit Vista on my Sager 9262, but it came with a disc with all the drivers it needed........so far the 64 bit works great on it.

Hmm . . . unless someone can correct me, you might be SOL. They do not appear to have 64-bit drivers readily available. I would wait and see what they put in the box for you.

The other option being that, Vista may install the proper drivers itself when you reinstall the 64 bit version. I would have a chat session with Dell about that . . . maybe there is something I wasn't seeing on the site.

I've found out that their Vista ultimate disk may not include the 64-bit version (like it should). If that is the case, you should be able to download it from Microsoft. The only thing you buy from them these days is a key anyway.

I am actually downloading a torrent right now because It's just a DVD image and it has the 64-bit version with which I can use my key from Dell!

It doesn't come on the disc......but when you purchase Vista Ultimate or Business, Dell has to send you the 64 bit disc if you call and request it. They just don't give you any support or driver help on the 64 bit version.

Someone on another thread posted a link to Dell's policy about that in case the people on the phone try to tell you no when you request the 64 bit disc...... but I'm not sure where the link is right now

Can anybody rebuild Dell Quickset software for 64-bit XPS or Precision systems to run on the 1735 it says "system not supported" when I try to run it. Somebody has to know how to convince it to work for us :D Also am having trouble ejecting a disc am not really sure why though.

Update. My 1735 is running extremely well especially after I found the 1535 has 64-bit drivers now! You can use those for most of the devices as well as Dell Quickset. Also Dell has released a BIOS update that is supposed to fix the disc eject problem, but I have been unable to get the download link to work! 64-bit on the Studio 17 is a reality!!!!
