I've been looking at some older systems people have from about a year ago. Are the i9300's discontinued?

The 9300 are discontinued. They were replaced with the 1710/9400. Another place would be Ebay, and Dell has an ebay store, but I'm not sure of what they sell.

Darn! The 9400's don't have Geforce 6800's on them. That's the only reason I wanted to know where to get them.

    EDIT:
How much did the 9300's cost back then?

The search function is there to help you out. Make use of it.

I got my 9300 within the first month of it being released. It cost about 3000 without coupons, and I got it for 2300 with coupons. That includes 2 year warranty and accidental coverage.

I know you asked me about it on another thread, but why are you specifically searching for the 6800 and Pentium M?

With all the hype of the new videocards coming, I'd assume the prices would go down for a laptop with Geforce 6800.

Is the ATI X1600 an equivalent to the Geforce Go 6800 by any chance?

I'm not a video card guru, so I can't tell ya. If you go to our gaming forum, Chaz has a sticky on video cards and which ones are in the same category with each other.

The 6800 is about the same as an x1600, but from what I have seen, the NV42!?!? core is great for the 6800, OC's very well. :p
