    Hi!
I was surfing in the Dell website to know how I can register my fore-buying XPS laptop. But surprisingly I didn't find anything like "register" for a product ( unlike hp or toshiba that you can find it on the companys home page). How can I register it?

Once you buy it, the service code will already be associated with your account.

You dont need to register it ever. If you purchased it from them then you are in their system already. If you purchased it form a store then if you ever have a problem and call for help they will throw your information in their system.

    Thank you.
So how can I realize whether it is secondhand or not when I buy it from a reseller? I am very (too) suspicious.

I have not bought it yet. I'll buy it tommorrow (if I don't find MSI GX610 or Toshiba A300).
I live in Iran. Here laptops ( except for Fujitsu, MSI ) can not be bought directly from the manufacturer( most because of US sanctions ). Most of notebooks are imported from UAE. In ths case they are sold (at least ) three times before the final user (me) : manufacturer -> UAE (or china) -> importer -> reseller -> me. (So the price goes 50% more sometimes, you can not find $1500 Precision series less than $2200 ).

Selling a secondhand ( mostly returned ) is not common. But, you should always mention it, as returning the notebook means returning to the reseller. Also, sometimes in UAE some parts of it are replaced ( esp. RAM or external modem.)
I want to know if a laptop has a code that when I give it to Dell, they return the complete specs of it or say whether it is genuine.

Yes its called the service tag. However if it was sold to someone else before you, you will under most circumstances need to provide the original owner or the last one who registered it. This includes knowing their address. Dell might understand the situation if you explain, but really this is only needed for warranty part exchanges.
