    Heyas

About to buy my Dell 9300 with the Geforce 6800Go. Right now in the UK the difference between having the WXGA and the WUXGA is about £30.

Is it worth going for the UXGA if I will be using the laptop for gaming and internet?

Right now my desktop is 1280x960, anything smaller I hate on my 19" monitor, so will I hate the UXGA??

Need a speedy answer as the current double memory and deduction deals ends today!!

    Cheers

Well if you get the more inhanced screen, everything will be smaller and mutch clearer. It is really up to the user. But for gaming and just looking at the screen, everything will be really clear. On the lower screen it will be bigger and less clearer. If i had a choice, i would go with the more enhanced screen. But if you really dont like small things then just get the normal, as if you have bad eyes. My opinion.

the wuxga is 1920x1200 and very high for a screen that small, I would avoid it especially since you dont like text any smaller than your desketops panel. the wxga 1400x900 is plenty of room for internet, most pages will not fill up the screen an no web pages are designed for WUXGA resolutions anyhow. also the wuxga is the shiny glossy panel which reflects everything in the background onto the screen and is useless outdoors.
