    Hi,
    I have a Studio 15 with the slot dvd drive. It has stopped reading Disks ad ejects them out so I think I will need to replace it.

    Can anybody tell me what DVD model I should be looking for in the market?

    Also, will I able to replace the drive by myself at home?

    It's a bit difficult, if you haven't done anything like it before. But yes you can do it, download the service manual from dells' website and you're good to go. You can buy any slot load dvd drive as long as its the same size as your existing drive.
    I think the dimensions are 128.0(W)12.7(H)129.0(D)mm. Do reconfirm.
