Im looking to spend around 700 on this laptop. The deal is for the E1405 that starts at 700, i can boost it up to 999$ and use the 300$ off 999+. making the total 700. But im holding out for a coupon that will stack with my 12% epp discount and get an even better discount. the 300$ off 999+ coupon isnt stackable with any percentage off. Am i better off just taking that or waiting for an EPP coupon that will stack up and give me more then 30% off. I havent seen any around yet ;/ The current epp rate is 22% off but that still isnt as good as the 300 off coupon. Thanks.

I would just take the 300 off deal. I haven't been around much lately, but dell is pretty stingy on the coupons and normally doesn't release stackable ones with the epp. If they do release stackable ones, they are usually pretty minor ($20 off or so).

    That's just my $.02

Also the EPP 12% coupon this is usually cancelled out because it forces you to use the 2-4 year warranty and you pay slightly more. I say take the $300 off.

If you are planning on buying a 2 or 3 year upgraded warranty; then I'd go EPP. If you just want the Base warranty, I'd go with the Home deal.

You can actually use a different $300 off coupon from the epp site. When you select entertainment computers, there should be link to special deals. Then you can find EPP coupons for 300, 450, 750, just like for the home site. If you build a $2000 computer with warranty, you can get it for $1100 after $750 + 12% discount.

Anyways, there is also a mail-in rebate for extra service. Does anyone know if this still works with the $750 off coupons. Then, us students could save some serious money. Let me know if anyone has tried this.

    Thanks
