I dont know what your comfortable with, but i personally dont trust much from ebay. IMHO, It may be worthwhile to purchase the one from dell, as it comes with an extra power adapter as well, and you're guaranteed that its legit.

the seller I found is actually a guy I have bought from before... He has outstanding feedback and it ships new in box... big price difference is worth the risk.

    Thanks

I recently purchased a D/Dock off Ebay for about fifty dollars. New in the box and works perfectly. The D/Dock differs from the D/Port in that it has the power supply built in. So no need for an AC adapter. I use it for dual monitor set up, WinTV adapter and for the extra drive bay. It's the perfect desktop solution for my D620.

    Regards

did anyone find out which docking station is compatible with the D630? I am also looking for a D/Dock off ebay and I want to make sure I get the one that works. Will any D/Dock work?

Many listings say that they are compatible with the D620, D610 but none really say D630....

D/Port or D/Dock will work. if they're compatible with a D620, they're compatible with a d630....im pretty sure at least...check the specs on dell's site
