Since the 1720 is my first laptop, I don't know what type of ram it needs. So I tried researching the topic and narrowed it down to what I think is the right type. Now I need help in picking which is better.

    Kingston

    PNY

Is the big price difference a something to worry about?

    Thanks.

Just noticed for the first one that it doesn't say whether it's 5300 or something else. Should I assume it is 5300?

Thanks for the reply flipfire. I went ahead and ordered the Kingston 4gb kit Maksa. I think it's a pretty good deal. EDIT: What does the "optima" feature in the PNY memory do? Or is it just a marketing name? Also, I noticed the PNY has "low latency modules." What is the purpose of that?
