Which one is correct ?![]()
I think everest doesn't show the multiplier properly (just 11x)![]()

Check Intel website, Were it says "Bus/Core Ratio = 11", so 11x it is:
http://processorfinder.intel.com/details.aspx?sSpec=SLA44#
Confirmed with wikipedia:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o...s#.22Merom.22_.28standard-voltage.2C_65_nm.29 -
but SpeedStep reduces the multiplier to 6x !
it's variable between 6 and 12 (yes, 12 !)

Commander Wolf can i haz broadwell?
Six to eleven is definitely the nominal multiplier range; that's the figure they give you on Intel's site. The extra twelfth multiplier you're getting is either a read error on the monitoring programs' part or the result of this feature that I've heard of a few times but forget the name:
Basically if you're only loading one core of a C2D mobile processor it'll give you an extra multiplier if your chip is within a certain thermal spec. I've never seen it actually happen, but I know I've read about it...
Which one is correct ?
