Hi guys,
I need to replace a cracked screen on a Studio 1537. I've got the part number off the back of the screen which is LP154WX7 TL B1, I think I may have been getting myself confused, hopefully this is all I need and it indeed an LED screen as I've been doing some research and the 1537 could have come with a CCFL or LED backlit screen. Surely the part number will be a single type of screen and not be either CCFL or LED?
Thanks in advance,
Martin

Commander Wolf can i haz broadwell?
It is an LED screen. Just get a panel with the same model number and you should be fine.

Basic rule: if the cable connects to the screen only - LED; if the cable connects to the screen and inverter, which then connects to the screen - CCFL backlight screen. Inverter converts the power as CCFL needs more power for the same backlight level. This check works with any model and any manufacturer laptop. In most cases CCFL backlit screens look dim when viewed side by side with LED backlit screens on full brightness.
