I never get the extra, I always figure if defective it will break in the 1st year.
-
3 or 4 years complete care it's a no brainer
-
LOL, that's over $300
-
2Yr for now.
You can cancel 2nd year with in 21days or something but any small problem in 2nd year will cost you more then $100. -
I got 4 years CC for $75 on my Dell 700m
-
xD...how do you talk to the reps then? >_>
-
Free nudes prolly O_O jkjk
-
The more the better. Its usually small little things that break in the second year and they sometimes cost tons. Mager things should break if bad in the first year if good the third year(respectively).
-
simply depends on your budget.. if you have the cash then go for the warranty that is within the range... i could afford only 1 year cc...so i went for it..
-
You can still bargain with the reps and get CC added within the first 30 days -
but i'll definitely try. can you tell me how to go about it?? i mean should one simply demand that they be given cc or try beating 'bout the bush first??
-
Just be creative and nice.
-
If you have Amex card, they provide an extra year of warranty. So, get a 1 year complete care and have Amex match it for the second year.
-
-
Does that work with any amex card ? -
Can you get your warranty upgraded to 3 years if you purchased the notebook with one year?
-
I didn't get any extra insurance on my dell because my home insurance covers all electronics up to 3 years.
-
apparently the one year warranty that i purchased was 1 year cc for INR 1037(approx $30) and it does not insure against theft. the 3 year ccwas for INR 8500(approx $210). when i asked the dell rep what would happen after one year , he told me that they would give me a call one month before ii expires and then i can purchase it for ...hold ur breath....... INR 18000(approx $450). not sure what the norms are there in the us..
-
Just get the free one year one, and extend it every year.
-
-
-
i would get 1 year. actually i would even go less than that, and get the mail in warranty.
Which warranty should I get? 1 or 2 year?
